Dr. Elena Stocco, PhD

Dr. Elena Stocco is an Assistant Professor of Human Anatomy at the University of Padua, Italy, and a researcher in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine. Her research focuses on the anatomical foundations of regenerative medicine with a strong translational approach, particularly in the development of advanced biomaterials and composite scaffolds for reconstructive applications.
She has extensive expertise in decellularized extracellular matrices, biomimetic scaffold design, scaffold functionalization strategies, and in vitro and in vivo validation. Dr. Stocco has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and actively contributes to international scientific collaboration and mentorship.
